Area Sales Manager
Job Description
Sales Manager is responsible for: managing accounts to achieve guest satisfaction; and ensuring all revenue goals are achieved or exceeded by soliciting past and new business. Requirements include: the ability to effectively communicate with guests in a friendly and positive manner; the ability to meet/exceed client needs; and resolve complaints; and knowledge of departmental interaction and organizational structure in a hospitality context.

Individual must have minimum 3 to 5 years of proven hotel sales experience in the New York City Market. Responsibilities include but not limited to selling to national and local corporate and corporate groups. Major brand experience preferred. Position will be for representation of multiple midtown hotels.
Opening Fall of 2013 and managed by Interstate Hotels & Resorts the 378 rooms Courtyard by Marriott Central with it's Courtyard BISTRO open for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner; as well as for evening cocktails is the Western Hemisphere’s tallest hotel only complex.
Located on Broadway and 54th street and conveniently located to Central Park, Columbus Circle and Times Square in the heart of Manhattan
